Freeform Pool with Arbor & Pergola — Gunter, TX

Project Details

This natural-style freeform pool in Gunter, TX blends rustic stone and warm cedar woodwork into a stunning backyard retreat on a large open lot. Built by Prestige Pool & Patio, the pool features a premium glass bead plaster finish that shimmers in the Texas sun, a generous tanning ledge with bubbler fountain, and a continuous stone retaining wall that wraps around the pool's freeform curves. The stone column arbor provides an elegant poolside entry point, framing views of the water from the covered patio. A cedar pergola shelters the outdoor living space with recessed lighting and lounge furniture, creating a comfortable entertaining area that overlooks the entire pool. The 6x12 travertine decking and coping add a refined touch, while flush-mounted Hide skimmers keep the pool edge clean and uncluttered. This Gunter build showcases Prestige's expertise in creating natural, rustic pool environments that feel like a private hill country escape.
