Renovate or Build New
Modernizing a Twin Creeks Backyard
With many homes from the late 1990s and 2000s, a Twin Creeks project often starts with the pool that's already there — or with a backyard that never had one.
Renovate an Existing Pool
A pool from the late 1990s or 2000s can get a new interior finish, tile, and coping — plus features like a spa, a tanning ledge, or LED lighting.
Update the Equipment
Replacing older pumps, filters, and heaters with variable-speed and automated equipment lets you run the pool, spa, and lights from your phone.
A New Pool Where There Isn't One
If your home has no pool yet, we design one sized to your lot — from the smaller lots in the community to lots of more than half an acre.
Golf Course & Creek-Side Lots
Designing Around the View
Twin Creeks is built around the Twin Creeks Golf Club, and some lots back to creeks. If your backyard faces the course or a creek, we orient the pool, spa, and seating toward the view and plan sightlines from the house — while keeping to City of Allen setback and fencing requirements. With lots in recent listings running roughly 0.14 to 0.71 acres, every design starts with your specific lot.
Golf Course Lots
On a lot that faces the course, we place the pool and seating so the fairway is the backdrop — from inside the house and from the patio.
Creek-Side Lots
Where a lot backs to a creek, we plan the pool, patio, and drainage around the slope and the creek edge, and frame the view from the seating areas.
See It in 3D First
Using Structure Studios software, our designers create a photorealistic 3D rendering of your backyard — so you can see exactly what it will look like before construction begins.

Architectural Review & City of Allen Permits
Before a Twin Creeks pool project breaks ground, there's a City of Allen building permit — and, if your HOA requires architectural review, an approval package as well. Here's what Prestige handles for you.
Architectural Review Package
If your HOA requires architectural review, Prestige prepares and submits the architectural review package for you — drawings, material specs, and any required follow-up.
City of Allen Permits & Inspections
The City of Allen requires a residential building permit for all pool construction. Prestige manages the entire permitting process — from initial application through all required inspections — so you don't have to deal with the City directly.
Engineered for North Texas Clay Soil
North Texas has expansive clay soil that shifts with moisture changes. It is common and manageable when the pool is engineered for it — proper steel reinforcement, beam design, and drainage are critical.

Yes. Many Twin Creeks homes date from the late 1990s and 2000s, so pools built with them may be ready for an update. Prestige handles pool remodeling, resurfacing, equipment upgrades, and complete backyard transformations. That can mean a new interior finish, tile and coping, updated equipment and lighting, and new features like a spa or a tanning ledge. We assess your pool during a free on-site consultation and walk you through the options.
It gives the backyard a view worth designing around. Twin Creeks is built around the Arnold Palmer-designed Twin Creeks Golf Club, and some lots back to creeks. Lots in recent Twin Creeks listings run roughly 0.14 to 0.71 acres. On a smaller lot, the design focuses on fitting the pool, spa, and patio efficiently; on a larger one, there may be room for an outdoor kitchen or a fire feature as well. We assess your specific lot during a free design consultation.
Twin Creeks has two community pools, and they're a great amenity — but they're shared. A private pool gives you water steps from your back door, on your own schedule, and with a heated spa it works year-round. A free design consultation is the easiest way to see what would fit your lot.
Check your HOA's guidelines before you plan. If your HOA requires architectural review, Prestige prepares and submits the architectural review package for you — including drawings, material specs, and any required follow-up — so approval is in hand before construction starts.
