What We Can Add to Your Pool

Every feature is custom-designed and engineered for your specific pool.

Waterfalls & Grottos

Natural rock or stacked stone waterfalls that cascade into your pool. Grottos create a hidden cave-like retreat underneath. Custom-designed to fit your pool shape and landscape.

Scuppers & Sheer Descents

Elegant arcs of water flowing from raised walls or pedestals into the pool. Sheer descents create a smooth, glass-like sheet of water — stunning with LED backlighting at night.

Bubblers & Deck Jets

Bubblers rise from the sun shelf or shallow areas. Deck jets arc water from the deck into the pool. Both add movement, sound, and a resort-style feel to any pool.

Tanning Ledges & Sun Shelves

Shallow, flat ledges (4–8 inches deep) perfect for lounge chairs, kids' play, or just soaking in the sun. One of the most requested features in pool renovations.

Spa Additions

Add a raised spa with spillover into the main pool, or a standalone hot tub adjacent to the pool. Custom shapes, jets, and LED lighting included.

LED Lighting & Fire Bowls

Color-changing LED pool and spa lights with programmable shows. Fire bowls and fire features on raised walls or pedestals add dramatic contrast of fire and water.

Common Questions

Water Feature FAQ

Can I add water features to my existing pool?

Yes. Most water features — bubblers, deck jets, scuppers, sheer descents, and even waterfalls — can be added to an existing pool during renovation. The plumbing and electrical work is coordinated with the overall renovation project.

How much do water features cost to add?

Bubblers and deck jets start around $500–$1,500 each installed. Scuppers and sheer descents range from $2,000–$5,000. Custom waterfalls and grottos can range from $5,000 to $25,000+ depending on size and materials. We provide detailed pricing during your design consultation.

Do water features increase my energy costs?

Modestly. Most water features use your existing pump or a small dedicated pump. With a variable-speed pump, you can run features at low speed to minimize energy use. The added cost is typically $10–$30/month depending on usage.

Can I add a tanning ledge to my existing pool?

Adding a tanning ledge to an existing pool requires structural modification — it's essentially adding a new shallow section. It's best done during a major renovation when the pool is already being resurfaced and replumbed. We can assess feasibility during a free consultation.
