Common Questions
Fluidra Equipment FAQ
Fluidra is the parent company of Jandy, Polaris, and Zodiac — three of the most recognized names in residential and commercial pool equipment. All three brands are now engineered under one umbrella, which means their products integrate seamlessly with each other.
Yes. Jandy's iAquaLink system provides full smartphone control of your pool and spa — pumps, heaters, lights, water features, and more. The app is free with no monthly subscription fees, and it works on iOS and Android devices.
A salt chlorine generator converts dissolved salt in your pool water into chlorine through electrolysis. This eliminates the need to buy, store, and handle liquid or tablet chlorine. The result is softer, gentler water with consistent sanitization and significantly lower chemical costs over time.
Absolutely. Variable-speed pumps can reduce pump energy costs by up to 80-90% compared to older traditional models. They run quieter, last longer, and are now required by Department of Energy regulations for all new pool installations. The energy savings typically pay for the pump within 1-2 years.
