Drone Technology by DJI

Aerial precision for site surveys, design planning, and stunning project photography.

DJI

Our Process

How Prestige Uses Drone Technology

We use DJI drones throughout the design and construction process — from the very first site survey to the final reveal photography. Drone technology gives our design team a perspective that ground-level visits cannot match, and gives our clients breathtaking aerial views of their completed backyard.

Before Construction

Site Surveys & Planning

Before we design your pool, we fly the property. Aerial imagery gives our team accurate measurements, a clear view of lot boundaries, slopes, existing structures, tree lines, utility access points, and neighboring properties. This information feeds directly into the 3D design in Structure Studios, resulting in a more accurate and realistic plan from day one.

During the Build

Construction Documentation

During the build, drone flyovers document progress at key milestones — excavation, steel, gunite, decking, and final completion. These photos and videos become part of your project record and are often featured in our gallery and social media content.

The Final Reveal

Project Photography & Video

Once your backyard is complete, aerial photography captures the full scope of the transformation in a way no ground-level camera can. These shots showcase the pool, outdoor living space, landscaping, and how everything integrates with your home — the kind of images you see in our gallery and on our Instagram.

The Prestige Difference

Why It Matters

Drone technology is not a gimmick — it is a tool that makes our designs more accurate, our builds more documented, and our finished projects more stunning to look at. It is one more way Prestige invests in doing things the right way.

Common Questions

Drone Technology FAQ

Yes. For most new pool construction projects, we fly a DJI drone over your property during the initial site survey. This gives our design team accurate aerial imagery of your lot — including measurements, slopes, tree lines, structures, and neighboring properties. The drone flight is quick, non-invasive, and gives us data that ground-level visits simply cannot provide.

Yes. Once your backyard is complete, we fly the property again to capture aerial photography and video of the finished project. Many of our clients use these images for their own social media, and we feature the best shots in our gallery and on our Instagram. The aerial perspective captures the full scope of the transformation in a way no ground-level camera can.

Absolutely. Aerial imagery from a drone survey feeds directly into our 3D design process using Structure Studios. By starting with an accurate overhead view of your lot, our designers can place the pool, outdoor kitchen, landscaping, and every other element with precise spatial awareness. The result is a more accurate rendering and fewer surprises during construction.
