Negative Edge Pool with Basin & Floating Steps — Prosper, TX

Project Details

This Prosper estate pool makes a bold architectural statement with a full negative (infinity) edge that spills into a catch basin, creating a seamless horizon effect against a backdrop of mature hardwoods. Floating stone stepping stones cut through the water — a detail that turns the pool itself into a design feature. A pair of cantilever umbrellas with 360-degree rotation are custom color-matched to the patio furniture, giving the space a resort-caliber cohesion. The covered patio features a cedar tongue-and-groove ceiling with a large ceiling fan and recessed light, and an open wall of glass provides a dramatic framing view of the pool from inside the home. A blue tile water feature adds a vivid accent against the dark plaster finish. The expansive travertine deck features a hidden drain system that channels water away without visible drain grates — keeping the deck surface clean, dry, and uninterrupted. The deck maximizes the estate's footprint and creates generous space for lounging and entertaining.
